TWO fire engines were required to tackle a blaze near Penrith earlier this week.
The crews were called out to the incident at Newton Road, Newton Rigg, around 9:50pm on Tuesday, July 21.
On arrival, the teams discovered a fire that was located within a stable block at the Newton Rigg site.
Firefighters present used one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the blaze.
Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes
