EMERGENCY services were called after reports of a sudden death of a woman in Penrith.
At about 12.10pm yesterday (July 30) police were called to a report of a sudden death of a woman in her 80s on Macadam Way, Penrith.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said: "“Police and North West Ambulance Service attended and the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances.”
