A property firm has submitted a planning application to build a new wash plant facility in Askam.
Harry Barker Properties Ltd, which runs a recycling facility and quarry at Greenscoe, wants to build the new facility to aid the recycling side of the business, and has submitted the plans to Barrow Borough Council.
It is part of an expansion, with the firm saying it will help 'improve the quality of products recycled.'
