A WOMAN is set to appear before magistrates on Monday charged with assaulting two police officers at Furness railway station.
Ellie Sinead Robertson, 19, of Grasmere Avenue, Workington, will appear before South Cumbria Magistrates Court.
Ms Robertson is alleged to have assaulted police officers Sam Ellis and Oliver Braithwaite at Barrow Railway Station on July 25 this year.
She has been charged under the assaults on emergency workers offences act 2018. It is her first appearance in court for the offences, with the teenager yet to enter a plea.
