Police attended a two vehicle collision on the A684 this morning (18 September).
Cumbria Police were contacted at 9:33am to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A684, near Sedbergh.
Police reported that a Range Rover and a motorcycle were involved in the collision, which Cumbria Roads Police had described as 'serious'.
The rider of the motorbike, a man from south Cumbria, sustained serious spinal injuries and has been airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital.
The driver of the Land Rover, a woman from south Cumbria, has been taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. Her injuries are not believed to be serious at this stage, according to police.
