CASTLE Carrock is holding a Scarecrow trail next month with prizes for the winners.
The competition will be held on the weekend of October 10 and 11.
The theme is 'anything goes' and entry costs £5 per scarecrow.
There will be prizes for first second and third place.
All entries must be in by October 8, Scarecrows must be in place by 4pm October 9.
Organisers has asked for residents who can offer space for scarecrows to children who live outside the area to get in touch.
The event is a fundraiser for the Friends of Castle Carrock Primary School and Nursery near Brampton.
They also said that there is no unauthorised entry to resident's properties and that social distancing rules must be adhered to, with groups of no more than six people.
