A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson, following a fire in Appleby last week.
Police were contacted at 1:45am on October 21 to a report of a fire at an address on The Sands, Appleby.
North West Ambulance Service attended, along with officers and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
No injuries were reported.
The 31-year-old has since been released under investigation.
