POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an incident following the arrest of three people for possession of an offensive weapon.
The incident was reported to police at 7.30pm on November 10, and occurred at Market Court, Penrith, continued into St Andrews Church yard.
The report is of a disturbance at a property in the area.
A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, he has been released on police bail.
A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, she has been released on police bail.
A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released under investigation.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 175 of November 10.
