POLICE are investigating an incident which led to a 40-year-old Cumbrian man being arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

The incident that led to the arrest happened between 10pm on November 23 and 1am on November 24, at Greystoke Park Road, Penrith, said a statement from Cumbria Police.

The man allegedly involved has been released under investigation.

No injuries were reported.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
