A MAN accused of making and possessing more than 800 indecent images of children and animals has appeared in court.
Robert Lishman, 36, is also alleged to have possessed 12 extreme images of animals engaging in sexual activity with a human, said to involve dogs, pigs and cows.
The offences are alleged to have been committed between May 18 2019 and February 20 2020.
The defendant, of Birkfield Road in Windermere, offered no indication of plea to the charges when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
He will appear at Carlisle Crown Court on January 6.
