FARMERS in the Lake District have been invited to attend a series of virtual meetings discussing the future of farming in the national park.
It is hoped the meetings, being held over video conferencing service Zoom, will allow the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA) to better understand the support farmers will require to access funding streams in future.
The meetings will also help shape an LDNPA bid for National Lottery funding, as part of the National Lottery's Heritage Horizon Awards.
The next meetings are on January 11 and 14. LDNPA farming officer Andrea Meanwell has encouraged people to get involved.
People can book a place by visiting https://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/caringfor/lake-district-national-park-partnership/ldnppachievements or by telephoning Veronica Waller on 01524 782797.
