ORGANISERS of the Cumbria Charity Truck Fair have confirmed that this year's event will be cancelled because of uncertainty over Coronavirus regulations.

A statement from the organisers, on Sunday, read: "We had originally considered running the show this year.
"But with the obvious Covid-19 restrictions and uncertainty we feel this would have been a fairly pointless exercise to have to cancel again.
"However we are in talks with the venue to secure the dates for July 2022.
"We will update you as soon as we can. All the very best to you all in these difficult times."
According to information the event's Facebook page it raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support in Cumbria, with a show that is staged at Carlisle Auction Mart.
In 2018 it was reported that £36,500 was raised
