AN ANTHOLOGY has been released of Lake District literary extracts.
It is a tribute to the beauty of a countryside landscape that has inspired authors for generations.
'A String of Pearls: Landscape and Literature of the Lake District' has been compiled by Margaret Wilson, with photographs by Helen Shaw.
Merlin Unwin Books said on social media: "It's now available to buy from all good bookshops
