Our Summer Songwriting Masterclass will be directed by former Windermere School pupil Evie Plumb, who, along with band members Jamie Walker and Luke Paget, have been play-listed on Radio 1. This practical course includes workshops on writing, production and understanding publishing royalties.

Participants will also receive a one-hour, individual session in either vocal, guitar, or production and recording. They will be assisted in the writing and recording of at least one finished demo by the end of the week, which will be mixed and mastered. This will be the perfect memento of an unforgettable experience.

Children can learn to sail or develop existing skills at our private Watersports Centre on the shores of Windermere Lake. All courses are suitable for both complete beginners and more experienced sailors alike. Attendees can expect a hands-on, fun, and engaging experience that could lead to an RYA qualification. Taught by highly qualified instructors, participants will push their boundaries, develop new skills and become more confident on the water.

Under the expert instruction of the Adventure Team, children on this course will enjoy a variety of thrilling outdoor adventures in a range of exciting Lake District locations. Typical activities could include abseiling, mountain walk or scramble, mountain biking, ghyll scrambling, caving, and climbing. The course has a strong emphasis on both personal development in leadership and outdoor skill acquisition, and the week is sure to be action-packed with a heavy dose of adrenaline!

Windermere School has a long history in music and the performing arts. We are delighted to welcome choreographer and West End performer Ashley Johnson as Creative Director of our Westend at Windermere programme.

Using the School's auditorium and an extensive collection of props, participants will plan, rehearse and perform extracts from well-known West End musicals. They will develop and enhance their performing, singing, and dancing expertise culminating in a performance.
