A 20-year-old man has been fined after he admitted assaulting a police officer.
Anthony Lee Cleminson, 20, of Raffles Avenue in Carlisle, appeared at the city's magistrates' court on Monday.
He faced one charge of assaulting an emergency worker, namely a police officer, by beating on April 14 at Carlisle.
Cleminson pleaded guilty, was fined £80, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £84
