As the country was slammed into a whole new way of living and working as the Covid-19 pandemic gripped the world, one young boy embarked on a new adventure.

The youngster, who is just six-years-old, is Noah Pattinson, and his vegetable patch is growing and going from strength to strength.

Noah started to grow vegetables through lockdown. He made his own vegetable patch and regularly visits his grandparent’s greenhouse.

The mini entrepreneur has started to expand his plot after a number of kind donations from the community and from the money he has made.

The tyro tycoon is reinvesting his profits after selling his little bags of vegetables to the community and has bought more seed to help him expand.

He set up a stall outside his home in Cleator Moor where he sold his vegetables to the community.

With these earnings he bought some more vegetables so he can grow them and hopes to do the same next year.

Some people have also heard about Noah and his stall and have sent him packets of seeds to help his vegetable patch expand.

His school teacher,l Nicole Kendall, said: “ Noah often comes into school and talks about his vegetable patch and his grandparent’s greenhouse with enthusiasm.

“I think it was such a great idea to sell his home-grown vegetables to the community.

“In a difficult time, he brought some goodness to people’s lives.”
