RESEARCH has revealed which vaccine against Covid is safer for pregnant women.
Data has recently shown that a concerning number of pregnant women were not taking any of the vaccines against Covid as they approached giving birth.
Cumbria County Council said: "Covid-19 vaccines offer pregnant women the best protection against the virus - which can be serious in later pregnancy for some.
"Research has also found no safety concerns amongst pregnant women vaccinated mainly with the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
"These are the preferred vaccines for pregnant women."
Currently the United Kingdom has seen 41 million people fully vaccinated, equal to 61.5% of the population.
World wide 24% of the population have been vaccinated, equal to 1.87 billion people.
