People can still register to attend Cumbria Local Enterprise’s online annual general meeting tomorrow.
For the second year running the meeting will be held virtually, taking place from 2pm to 4pm, with an opportunity to hear about the role CLEP has played in the economic response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chief executive Jo Lappin said: “We invite businesses, public, voluntary and community sector partners to attend the AGM, and indeed anyone who wants to know more about what we do and our future plans as we seek to boost Cumbria’s economy following another year impacted by Covid-19.
“It’s an opportunity for attendees to hear about our work in supporting the development of mitigation measures; communicating the support available and assessing the economic impact on Cumbria, as well as future plans to work with partners to take forward Restart, Reboot, Rethink – A Plan for Cumbria’s Economic Recovery.”
CLEP chair Lord Inglewood, board members and Mrs Lappin will outline key activities over the past 12 months and priorities for the remainder of the financial year.
The meeting will also hear from the Futures Forum.
There will be an open question and answer session as part of the event.
