A CAR allegedly being driven by a disqualified driver was stopped on the M6 motorway.
Police said that the driver thought he had a licence and insurance - which was incorrect.
A spokesman for Cumbria Roads Police said: "Even during a severe storm, where emergency services are stretched across the county, I still have to deal with people like this.
"Disqualified and without insurance.
"He said, "I didn't know I was disqualified" lying face. Vehicle seized and reported."
