Cumbria Business Growth Hub have announced that their European Regional Development Fund supported project has been extended until 30th June 2023.

The extension means that the company can continue to help and support Cumbrian based entrepreneurs and businesses, but this project is only one of the ways we can support your business.

The ERDF project offers a minimum of 12-hour intensive support including one to one adviser time from one of their qualified and experienced business advisers, as well as access to free training/workshops, a part funded subsidy to be used for specialist consultancy support (40% up to £4,000), specific supply chain support and introductions to new and untapped supply chain channels and signposting to other business support services on offer.

The Growth Hub is keen to receive any expressions of interest in a business placement scheme, allowing businesses to share best practice, processes, experiences and problem solve. Businesses can either choose to put themselves forward as hosting a placement and/or being placed.

The Hub are welcoming Geoff Ramm back to Cumbria this year. Geoff will be coming to Carlisle on 16th June to run his world-famous Celebrity Service session. Geoff really does know his subject and is well equipped to keep delegates entertained and focused.

Supply Chain activity commences with an online event with Emcor organised for the middle of February, there are also going to be other events in planning, building on the success of last year’s events.

Suzanne Caldwell, Cumbria Chamber of Commerce’s Managing Director says: “This just the tip of the iceberg, we’ve got lots of activity planned and, in the pipeline, offering real added value to businesses and giving them access to intensive support programmes – all of which I may add is free support.

“Cumbria Business Growth Hub has been the one stop shop for business support over the last 10 years and we’ll continue to offer this worthwhile and much needed support for many years to come. If you’ve not engaged with us before, please get in touch, if we’ve supported you before again get in touch and we’ll see how we can further help your business.”
