Police are investigating after thieves broke into a garage and stole a quad bike.
The burglary took place at a farm in the Maulds Meaburn area between 4pm yesterday (January 23) and 6am this morning (January 24).
According to officers, the offenders gained entry to the garage by opening or smashing a window and then forced the garage doors of the hinges to remove a quad bike.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “If anyone has seen or heard anything or has any CCTV in the area or has any Ring/CCTV door bells, they should contact PC 2500 ADAMS on 101 referencing log 17 of 24 January 2022.
“If anyone has seen a Yamaha Grizzly in green registered with VRM PX18 CJE, please report it to police.
“Alternatively report online www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit or by Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
