WITH less than a week to go until nominations close for the prestigious Newsquest Pride of Cumbria awards it's time to celebrate people you think make Cumbria great.
Nominations are being sought for the Pride of Cumbria Awards, which are now in their third year, and shine a light on the people who make our county such a great place to live.
Joy Yates, Newsquest Cumbria regional editor, said: "The deadline for nominations for our Pride of Cumbria awards is fast approaching and I'd urge everyone to take advantage of an opportunity to put forward individuals and organisations that deserve recognition for their contribution to the Cumbria community.
"The awards are a joyous event and I look forward to being part of the occasion honouring those that make Cumbria an incredible place to live, work and visit."
